ZOE TESSLER | CO-PRESIDENT
Zoe started playing ultimate with the Hot Saucers in Upstate New York. After graduating college in 2016, she moved to San Diego and has since played on various mixed club teams in SoCal. Zoe became a member of San Diego Equity in Ultimate to give back to the community, and she’s excited to be encouraging new growth within the city through Super Bloom.
HENRY ARGETSINGER | CO-PRESIDENT
Henry started playing ultimate at Beloit College (WI) in 2006, and never stopped. He's played all over the country, and for the past two years has coached the California Burrito club team here in San Diego. He recently completed a PhD at UCSD, and is excited to help support the San Diego ultimate scene for many years to come.
ABE SHKLAR | TREASURER
Abe started playing pickup ultimate after graduating college and moving to San Diego in 2016. He was taken under the wings of many competitive ultimate players who helped him fall in love with the sport. He was a co-captain of California Burrito in 2018 and 2019, a practice player with the San Diego Growlers in 2019, and an avid goaltimate and beach player.
FRANKIE SCULLY | BOARD MEMBER
Frankie was born and raised in San Diego. They started playing ultimate in college and continued playing after they moved back to San Diego. Frankie got involved with Super Bloom through their participation with San Diego Equity in Ultimate, and they’re excited to help Super Bloom grow and thrive.
CAT TREVINO | BOARD MEMBER
Cat moved to San Diego and started playing ultimate in college with UCSD Dragon Coalition in 2016. It was love at first toss and they have since played mixed club with California Burrito and women’s with San Diego Super Bloom. Rain or shine, year round, you can count on Cat to be at goaltimate pickup. They are excited and proud to be a part of the Super Bloom Board, working to build the community and create a safe space for all.
SARA ZHANG | BOARD MEMBER
Sara started playing ultimate in college with UC San Diego Dragon Coalition and stays involved with DCo as a Tournament Director (along with Cat) and as an Assistant Coach. Since then, Sara has played for pro, mixed club, and women's club teams in San Diego. As a board member, Sara is excited to drive efficiency and promote program sustainability while advancing the organization's mission of growing ultimate with DEI in mind.
THERESA ZETTNER | BOARD MEMBER
Theresa started playing ultimate in college with Michigan Flywheel and since has contributed to several mixed and women’s club teams, most recently as a player on Super Bloom and California Burrito. She moved to San Diego in 2019 and is proud to support the continued growth of the ultimate community here as a board member.
