Angela Wells (Head Coach)
Angela’s love for ultimate frisbee began at UC San Diego in 2004. She has more than a decade of experience playing women’s college and club ultimate in San Diego, and she played an integral role in the creation of Wildfire in 2014. Angela is a loud, passionate coach who doesn’t beat around the bush. She pushes athletes to dig deep and grind it out for one another – especially on defense. She is thrilled to be part of the inaugural season of Super Bloom. When she isn’t coaching ultimate frisbee, she can be found coaching competitive cheerleading for local high school girls, working at City Hall, practicing yoga, or hanging with her adorable dog, Emmitt.

Since college, Andrea has played on various mixed and womxn’s teams, including Axis of C’Ville, Seattle Underground, and San Diego Wildfire.
